How I became a lawyer and why I love what I do
I studied business law and business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Vienna.
After completing university, I worked as tax associate with PwC Price Waterhouse Coopers for more than 2 years. I learned a lot during this time and it quickly turned out that the legal requests which I handled there (focusing on tax law at that time) were my passion, rather than handling tax returns or dealing with numbers. The more complicated a question was, the better I liked it.
In February 2014, I decided to join a newly established law firm as associate and helped to build it up. Next to immigration law, I focused on all aspects of corporate law, advising startup-founders as well as stock exchange listed companies.
In December 2017, after completing the required practice period and the bar exam, I was registered as a lawyer in Vienna.
In June 2019, I became a partner and managing director of the law firm.
After 9 fruitful years in the same law firm, I decided to proceed on my own and since 2023 I am a sole practitioner and enjoy the freedom of "being my own boss", taking my own decisions and doing the work exactly the way I want, without any compromises.
My credo has always been: "Clients first". My client´s needs are my top priority and I do everything I can to reach the best results for my clients. If my clients are happy, I am happy too. It is a great feeling to know that I could help someone resolving a difficult situation, a severe problem or "just" to get a residence permit or an Austrian passport. I love what I do and I believe my clients can feel this.
